Community Description Located in eastern Kentucky, West Liberty has just over 3,000 residents and is situated in the central west foothills of the historic Appalachian Mountains.

West Liberty enjoys close proximity and easy access to urban areas including Lexington 90 miles west and Ashland 70 miles northeast.
